A hat with meaning

All of our hats are made in Nairobi, Kenya (my home) by our partner factory. We have strong morals when working with our partner factories of paying above living wages, providing a nice place to work and providing lunchtime meals. 

All of our fabrics (known in Kenya as Kitenge) are sourced from the local markets providing an income to over 20 different fabric sellers that we work closely with.

Due to the complexity of our patterns and the way they are cut no 2 hats ever come out the same. I can safely say that each hat is 1 of 1.

Limited Edition

Due to the way the Kitenge fabric is brought into Kenya it makes it very difficult to find the same pattern more than once. As a result our products are ever changing and evolving, so once they're gone, they're gone!

Delivery & Returns

For UK orders: We ship with EVRI and offer 2 different levels of shipping. STANDARD (2-3 business days) or EXPRESS (1-2 business days). We will try to dispatch your items the same day, however cannot guarantee it if the order is made after 2pm.

We insure every parcel and so, although rare, if EVRI loose it we can claim insurance and send you a replacement. 

For International orders: We ship using DHL Express (4-5) business days. However we cannot guarantee the shipping time as sometimes imports get delayed at borders.

We accept all UK returns. We will cover all return costs for any products that arrive damaged or have a defect. However if the product doesn't fit we will ask you pay the £3 return postage.

We will discuss International returns on a case by case basis as costs are high to return an item. Send us an email and we will get you sorted.
