Bucket Hats Against Period Poverty

Why do we still donate single use sanitary pads?

We currently donate single use sanitary pads because we have found that many of the girls that we are donating to don't have access to clean water to safely wash reusable sanitary pads.

However, in the near future we are going to start donating reusable pads from the Kujuwa Initiative, with the aim that the girls can choose the kind of pads that they believe will work best for them.

Please read more about our initiative on our Bucket Hats Against Period Poverty Page.

Where do we donate to?

We are currently donating to Loldia Primary School, located in Kasarani, Naivasha, Kenya.

How do we raise money?

We raise money through the sale of our pink bucket hats and boonies.

90% of the profits from these products goes directly to the purchase of period products.
